seems fairly innocuous, right? WRONG!

this article hits the nail right on the head (and you really MUST watch at least part of the video to get the full effect):

“Not only is it apparently earnest and not a parody, self- or otherwise, it seems like it comes from a bizarro parallel universe where irony was never discovered. It’s like Microsoft found some kind of home-schooling Christian commune in the woods and hired them to make their commercial.”

in political news, Obama has picked the RIAA’s #1 henchman as a top lawyer in the justice dept.

lest you think i’m a lefty apologist, i will politely inform you that i still haven’t forgiven the Clinton administration for the complete clusterfuck that is the DMCA, so the appointment of this champion of never-ending copyrights and record industry legal thuggery does absolutely nothing to bolster my view of the president-elect.

who knew that last post completely botched the site? i certainly didn’t see it until tonight.

also, thanks to chad for pointing out the issue with the injection-spam happening. trying to sort that one out as quickly as possible. i think it’s due to my old version of WordPress…but last time i tried to upgrade, i borked the entire site, and that’s just not good either. so i’m caught between the proverbial rock and hard place.

working on a new podcast to post. wonky tech-house and some heavy bass stuff that will drive all my purist techno friends crazy. whatever. you guys know i’m not a purist by any stretch.

UNTIL THEN…i come bearing a most wonderful gift….
